LinkedIn filed it’s S-1 on Thursday after the stock market closed.  As a shareholder of the company it’s not really appropriate for me to comment further and the S-1 is obviously only the beginning of the process. For those who want an analysis of the filing, Mashable did a pretty good job.

As part of the founding team, it’s incredibly cool to see LinkedIn reach this point a little over 8 years after we started the company in Reid Hoffman’s Mountain View apartment.  Once the IPO is complete, I’ll write a series of posts about the early days of the company and what our VC fundraising was like.
